Rockefeller Foundation Innovation Initiative. ‘The Rockefeller Foundation’s Innovation Initiative will spur the development of solutions to the challenges facing poor or vulnerable people around the world. Too often the systems that drive innovation and distribute its benefits target wealthier consumers. The Rockefeller Innovation Initiative will:
- Fund access of researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs worldwide working on development problems to proven innovation models and resources.
- Support development of, access to and distribution of innovations that promise to have a major positive impact on poor and vulnerable people.’
The Rockefeller Foundation. ‘The Rockefeller Foundation works around the world to expand opportunities for poor or vulnerable people and to help ensure that globalization’s benefits are more widely shared. It is one of the few institutions to conduct such work both within the United States and internationally.
Our initiatives are largely focused in a small group of areas in which the Rockefeller Foundation may play a special role by virtue of our history and legacy: global health, agricultural productivity, innovation for development, economic resilience and urban life.’
